A couple weeks ago I went to CiRCA. If you ever get the chance, go there, it's AMAZING! It's created by Peter Gatien of Party Monster fame and is this MASSIVE club with countless rooms and floors, many different DJs and concession stands, and it's all circus-themed!

Highlights of my life lately:
- I found out that I’m going to be VAC (Art Club) president next year! :o
- The play (Blizzard) that I was stage-managing was cancelled and replaced with another play Dean wrote. This new one is a collection of monologues in a "Drug-Users Anonymous" meeting. We've got all the best Grade 12 actors Dean dreamed of, but only one week to put it together. Our tech rehearsal is the Monday after March Break and we perform on the Thursday. This means I have to learn all the tech things by this Wednesday.
- On Thursday I'm going to Florida for the break! We're driving down, then I'm meeting Zach at his condo and spending most of the week there with him. ^^
- I’ve been hanging out with Andrea more and that’s infinitely awesome. <3
- I’ve had to think a lot about my future because we selected courses for next year. I’m aiming for Image Arts: New Media at Ryerson University. Need higher marks. Need job to pay for tuition. Gah.
- I made an outline of what I want my portfolio to consist of by next year in time for applications:
3 short films, 5-10 photographs, 5-10 digital photographs (photoshopped), 5 pieces of art, 5 digital art/whatevers.
- I’ve also decided that my life goal is to make a stop-motion animation film with Michael, even if he isn't too willing.
- My room is almost done! My dad and I are installing the floor tonight and then this weekend I can (hopefully) move back in. It looks so cool!
- Media Arts is the best class EVER, not only because Mr. Malcolm teaches it, but because I can use that time to photoshop pics I would have had to do at home! XDDD
- English seminar due Tuesday. Cannot cope. Anyone read "A Separate Peace"?
- I'm done with Mr-Bulleted-List-San
I promise to be better about posting regularly, because this monster post took all week to do. T_T;; I think it'll be better when normality is back in my life. Hah. |

Well, I figure it's time for me to make one of those "Year in Review" posts that everyone seems to be doing... this time I'll organize it in a quick-n-easy readable way!
2006 - The Best and Worst Year of My Life

- Drugs and alcohol
- Best friends getting addicted to/overdosing on drugs and alcohol
- Drugs and alcohol tearing apart friends groups
- Fighting with Angela twice
- Many stressful nights of crying
- Falling in lust
- Age-depression
- Trying to date around but failing XD
- Drama stress
- Missing Sarah for two-and-a-half months
- Living a lifestyle that is way above my budget
- Losing a very good friend
- A two-and-a-half-month down period
- A couple breakdown

- A doomed long-distance relationship
This was by far the most stressful, drama-filled, and angst-ridden years I've lived. I think most people can say that about their sixteenth year on the planet, though. As you can see, the bests outnumber the worsts. It was an amazingly fun year, thanks to my wonderful friends. I love you all so much, can't wait to see what 2007 has in store for us (it can't be much worse than 2006, can it?) |

This is an anonymous, confidential survey being conducted for a Highschool Sociology, Phsychology, Anthropology class. The purpose of this survey is to better understand the way teenagers accept and understand homosexuals, and the challenges gay teens face at school. Again, this is totally anonymous and completely confidential, and partaking in this survey is completely optional.
Discrimination: Treatment or consideration based on class or category rather than individual merit; partiality or prejudice. For example, kicking a gay man off a sports team because he’s a “fairy”.
Hate Crime: A crime, usually violent in nature, that violates the victim's civil rights and that is motivated by hostility to the victim's race, religion, creed, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender.
For example, chasing, stalking, beating or even killing someone because of their sexual orientation.
